Presently the only way to achieve the Diploma or Designation is by taking our Boot Camp.
Lead facilitators for this program have themselves completed training in adult education, and have many years of experience as facilitators and trainers. They deliver training for Saint Mary’s University Professional Development Program, Province of Nova Scotia Public Service Commission, Halifax Regional Municipality and City of Fredericton, Government of Nunavut and many private clients.
In 2012 Kaye Parker delivered in-house Train the Trainer workshops for Public Works and Government Services Canada, for Government of Nunavut, and facilitated several public offerings for participants came from a diverse group of municipal, provincial and federal departments as well as private industry.
The Designation Requires 12 Days
Kaye, Mike and Sharon delivered one intensive Train the Trainer Boot Camp. As an example of who attends boot camps, the March Boot Camp attendees were three in-house trainers from the private sector, three government employees who train within their department from time to time, two independent trainers, and two individuals who wanted to do more training, either on a contract basis or to help their organization.
The boot camp, along with it's homework assignment of developing, delivering and submitting your documentation makes up the 12 days required for this designation. This combination is unique to this designation only. Most past participants have enjoyed and benefited from the boot camp and homework immensely.
