Using Training Aids

Master trainers get results because they know that learners want to be involved, want to be treated with respect and want to be challenged. They don't want to just sit and listen or take notes. They want understanding and practical application. Facilitators and trainers are recognizing the benefits of whole brain learning where both the left and right side of the brain is stimulated and actively engaged in the learning process.

What You Will Cover

How to start things off, How to use small groups, How to include role playing without angst, How to use games and simulations, How to use puzzles, How to use instruments and other tools for self-learning, How to define problems and generate solutions, How to build a team, How to use film and video, How to write and use case studies, and How to use "Peer Learning".
Your own brain will be encouraged to find new participative methods of interacting with participants
All great trainers know that in order to get your message across in a training environment you need to encourage participation (discussions, games, etc.) from your learners. When your learners show that they are listening and interested in what you are training them on they will retain much more information than they would if they werent encouraged to participate. The Using Training Aids course will encourage you to support participation from your learners and will give you some great ways to do so.
You will learn how to use role plays, case studies, games and puzzles more effectively than ever before
One of the greatest ways for people to learn is for them to be put in a situation where they need to use the tools they have been given. The Using Training Aids course will teach you how to use role plays, case studies and other interactive exercises to help you train your employees to the best of your ability.
You will go back to your own training activities with a renewed commitment to find even more ways to make learning come alive.
In order to get the full benefit of a training program your learners must be interested and motivated to learn. The Using Training Aids course will help you to become more motivated about training so that you can provide your learners with the training program that will help them learn and grow in your organization.
