Many of us are alarmed at how anger is controlling our lives. This workshop is all about acquiring, in a step-by-step format, the skills you need to better manage anger-your own anger or the outbursts of your employees or the anger a client might unleash.
How anger affects our bodies and our minds
Anger affects our body and mind in many ways. Anger causes our bodies to become tense and our muscles to tighten which can cause headaches and migraines and lead to more serious problems. When you're angry you are unable to think clearly which can affect your work, home life, etc. This course will give you more information about the effects of anger and how to deal with it.
Manage anger
The Understanding More About Anger course will give you the information you need in order to manage your anger in a professional and healthy manner. The course will supply you with tips on how to stay calm and how to help others deal with their anger.
Express feelings appropriately
Part of learning how to manage your anger is learning how to express your feelings in an appropriate manner. Neither keeping your anger in nor expressing your anger by yelling are healthy ways of dealing with it. This course will teach you how to express your feelings in a productive and healthy manner.
Prevent a build-up of frustration
Many people believe that holding your anger in is a better way of dealing with it than having angry outbursts whenever something doesn't go as planned. This is not true. The Understanding More About Anger course will help you to learn how to prevent the build-up of frustration and will teach you techniques for letting your anger out in a professional manner.
Deal with issues
The Understanding More About Anger course will help you sort through the issues that make you angry and will give you techniques on how to deal with them, one at a time, so that it doesn't become overwhelming.
Staying calm
There will always be situations that make us angry and, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about that. This course will help you to learn how to stay calm in anger-causing situations so that the issues don't get worse.

Classes Start at 9am and end at 4:30.
We provide an hour break for lunch and provide 2 x 15 minutes break one in the AM and one in the afternoon.
